Nalgene 3140 Centrifuge Bottles with Sealing Caps can process large-volume cell harvesting, pelleting and protein purification. Molded of polycarbonate for easy visualization of samples, these bottles are ideal for low to moderate speed centrifugation of biological and chemical samples. Polypropylene sealing cap closure with silicone gasket adds leakproof assurance at maximum speeds or when spinning hazardous materials. When spinning 250mL bottle in a Thermo Scientific™ Sorvall™ GSA rotor, use of the Nalgene centrifuge bottle adapter (DS3125-0250) is required. Fill bottles to 80% of total capacity. Autoclavable.
