Nalgene 3138 Oak Ridge High-Speed Polycarbonate Centrifuge Tubes with Sealing Caps can withstand up to 50,000 x g in refrigerated or non-refrigerated centrifuges. Tubes come with Polypropylene sealing caps with silicone gaskets for extra leak protection when spinning >10,000 x g or spinning hazardous materials. Round bottom to fit high speed rotors. They can withstand temperatures from -135° to +135°C (-211° to +275°F). Before autoclaving, just set closure on top of the tube without engaging the threads. Must be filled to 80% of the total capacity for proper performance.
