Thermo Scientific Thermolyne F47950 120 cu in Benchtop Muffle Furnace with D1 Controller, 240V US Plug. It is ideal for general laboratory use, including gravimetric analysis, sintering, quantitative analysis and heat treating. It reaches a 1200°C maximum temperature and is available in two capacities for added flexibility. The built-in vent port removes contaminants and moisture to extend the life of the heating element and furnace. Open coil heating elements on both sides of chamber assure fast heat-up, with minimum temperature gradient. Maximum energy efficiency is achieved by surrounding the chamber with thermal-efficient ceramic insulation. The rear of the chamber includes a chamber monitoring port for independent temperature measuring device monitoring. Built-in venting system removes undesirable contaminants and moisture and extends the life span of the element and unit. D1 Controller- Programmable with four (4) stored program of sixteen (16) segments. Each segment includes one ramp and one dwell, so you can create four programs with 16 ramp/dwell cycles. The ramp is used to vary the heat-up rate to your specified setpoint. The furnace will then dwell (hold the temperature) at a set level for a specified time. An LED display simultaneously shows both setpoint and actual furnace temperatures. A mechanical over temperature protection relay and RS-232 communications interface are also included. 240V US Plug.
