The Wheaton Arsine Generator With Clear-Seal Joint was engineered for arsine analysis using the silver diethyldithiocarbamate (SDDC) colorimetric method (meets ASTM/USP and EPA specifications). The arsine absorber has a socket joint, while the scrubber tube has a standard taper 24/40 Clear-Seal joint and a standard taper 12/2 ball joint held together by a size 12 stainless steel ball joint clamp. This unit is manufactured from Wheaton 33® low extractable borosilicate glass (which meets ASTM Type I, Class A and USP Type I standards).

The removable glass slide rack has an open bottom to facilitate rapid immersion and drainage and eliminate carryover. The rack holds 10 single slides, 19 slides arranged alternately straight across and diagonally, or 20 slides back-to-back of regular size: 3" x 1" (75 x 25 mm), 3" x 1-1/2 " (75 x 38 mm) and 3" x 2" (75 x 51 mm) sizes. The Wheaton Coplin Staining Jar with PP Screw Cap holds five 3" x 1" (75 mm x 25 mm) slides, which extend above the opening so you can manipulate them without using forceps. The screw cap is made of linerless white polypropylene that reduces solvent evaporation and spills during storage. The unit has a rectangular base and holds approximately 60mL. Manufactured from soda-lime glass. Approximate inside dimensions: 26 mm L x 26 mm W x 70 mm D.

The Wheaton Hellendahl 16-Slide Staining Jar can be used for staining or as a TLC developing chamber. It holds eight individual 3 x 1" (75 mm x 25 mm) slides or, if necessary, 16 slides back-to-back. Manufactured from soda-lime glass. Approximate inside dimensions: 76 mm L x 25 mm W x 75 mm D. The wide top is for convenient insertion and removal of the slides without disturbing the staining. Made of heavy, molded, clear glass with eight grooves.

Used to determine if any of 40 contaminants is in waste material. Heavy duty borosilicate bottles are used in EPA Methods 1310 Extraction Procedure, 1311 Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP), and 1312 Synthetic Precipitation Leaching Procedure (SPLP), for those substances subject to regulation under Subtitle C of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The EPA recommends that borosilicate bottles be used. All have GPI finish 100-440.

The strength, slip resistance and impact absorption qualities of the plastisol coating reduce potential breakage and help protect laboratory personnel handling hazardous materials. These bottles help meet OSHA requirements. The bottles are manufactured from soda-lime glass, which meets USP Type III standards and are not autoclavable. Metal foil liners are generally more resistant to organic solvents. Poly-Seal and polyethylene liners are for distilled water, analytical standards and reagents.

The 300 mL bottles is recommended for the five-day BOD test as referenced in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, 21st Edition, 5210B, 2005.

The interchangeable stoppers have a tapered bottom that also prevents air entrapment.
