Indicating DRIERITE is impregnated with cobalt chloride. Indicating DRIERITE is blue when dry and changes to pink upon absorption of moisture. The color change is pronounced and clearly visible. This makes Indicating DRIERITE valuable when it is necessary to know with certainty that dryness is being maintained and to signal when the drying agent should be replaced. It has the same efficiency as Regular DRIERITE, and somewhat greater capacity due to the desiccating effect of the cobalt chloride. Contents: 97% CaS04, 3% CoCl2.

Non-Indicating Drierite is anhydrous calcium sulfate. It is of neutral pH, constant in volume, chemically inert except toward water, insoluble in organic liquids and refrigerants, non-disintegrating, non-wetting, non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-channeling, generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the FDA, not regulated by OSHA, economical to use, and can be regenerated repeatedly for reuse. Typical analysis >99.5% CaS04.

The DRIERITE Mini-Dehumidifier may be regenerated by placing it in an oven at 220° C or 425° F for one hour.

This DRIERITE Gas Purifier is specially designed for gas chromatography and other applications requiring dry, pure gas. It will dry, purify, and filter gases used for chromatography and spectrometry. For use in gas chromatography to prevent ghost peaks and to improve baselines. The gas purifier should be used for carrier gases and for flame lonization detector air and hydrogen gases. The gas purifier may also be used to remove moisture and impurities from gases when purging spectrophotometer compartments, etc.

The DRIERITE Laboratory Air and Gas Drying unit is an all-purpose drier. This unit is suitable for most laboratory applications. It will dry air to a dew point of -100ᄚ F at atmospheric pressure or pressures up to 90 psig. A simple connection by rubber hose to the bottom inlet of the dryer provides an immediate flow of dry air or gas. This unit is also available with 1/8 inch SS NPT fittings. Plastic coated mounting clips may be purchased separately.

Tube is polycarbonate. End caps are molded polypropylene with a 20 Micron polypropylene filter in each end.
