The Electromantle Extraction Heaters offer a choice of three or six recesses. Individual built-in solid-state electronic controls enable easy regulation of each heater, while removing sparking associated with mechanical switching. Units include three 0.5"(12.7mm) diameter support rods. External surfaces are PTFE-coated and resistant to most chemical solutions. The robust construction permits continuous operation of the units as required by routine extraction tests. Element temperature range to 450°C.

CMU metal-cased Electromantles are used in chemistry to heat liquids in round bottom flasks. They are ideal for busy laboratories with multiple users as they are very safe to use, the metal case being designed to remain cool when in operation. Additionally, they have a stainless steel grounded earth screen covering the element and are double-fused for added safety. In the event of any liquid spillage, the heating mantles automatically cut out to protect the user from electric shocks.

Outer housing is constructed of chemical resistant and resilient polypropylene minimizing damage from spillage. The coiled heating element is suspended within a thermal insulating cartridge to provide maximum heat transfer and support. Built-in temperature controller regulates temperatures from ambient to 450°C. The flexible heating element ensures minimum risk of flask breakage. Heating cartridge can be quickly and simply replaced.

The EMA series mantles combine the traditional Electrothermal heating elements with easily controlled solid state stirring.
