Photo of Super Strength Biohazard Bags

Protect against dangerous tears and leaks with extra strong, high impact biohazard disposal bags. The orange-red bags are printed with the standard biohazard warning symbol and precautionary procedures in four languages; English, French, German and Spanish. Extra heavy-duty bags are 2-mil thick blended polymer, autoclavable to 121° C (250° F) and feature a sterilization indicator patch that darkens when exposed to steam sterilization.

Autoclavable bags feature one long flap for ease in opening. When used with the Poxygrid® Desk-Size Bag Holder (B1008A-3), they provide a convenient, space saving, disposal unit for use in fume hoods, or on benchtop and desks. The bright orange-red bags are made of High Molecular Weight, High-Density (HMHD) Polyethylene and are printed with the biohazard symbol and a sterilization indicator patch. When picking up individual pieces of waste, the bag is turned inside out, over the hand, then turned right side out with waste safely inside the bag. Measures 8 ½" x 11".

For an economical solution to biohazard waste disposal use Bel-Art Scienceware® Biohazard Disposal Bags. Made of High Molecular Weight, High-Density Polyethylene (HMHD), these translucent bags can be used for the safe disposal of used pipettes, Petri dishes, culture plates, membrane filters and more. Biohazard Disposal Bags can be autoclaved at a maximum of 121° C (250° F) and discarded. The bags are .03mm (.0012") thick and are made from material that meets or exceeds the dart-impact test requirement of 165 grams per ASTM D1709-85.

These pads are impregnated with a heat-released deodorant that doesn't merely mask autoclave odors, but actually neutralizes them with one of four pleasant scents. Protective cover melts in autoclave, allowing deodorant to be heat activated. Neat and easy to handle, simply unwrap and place a pad in each bag prior to autoclaving. Odo-Clave® pads are 32mm (1-1/4") square. Packed 10 pads per bag, 10 bags per box.

Safe disposal and incineration of biohazard waste is simple and convenient with the Scienceware® Biohazard Incinerator Carton. The entire carton and its contents is designed to be burned. The corrugated cardboard receptacle is supplied with a .038mm (.0015") thick High Molecular Weight, High-Density (HMHD) polyethylene biohazard bag. A pair of tabs along the top edge keeps the bag from slipping out of place. The snug fitting lid has a flap for easily inserting waste material. When the box is filled, the safety cap is pulled into place and the entire unit is ready for incineration.

These high density polyethylene jerricans have a unique spout with a built-in air vent for smooth pouring. The 20cm (8") long spout also retracts into the threaded collar to conserve shelf space; when stored, the collar is sealed by a leak-proof screw cap. An extra handgrip on the bottom gives positive control when pouring. The 5-gallon jerrican has a 1" (25 mm) I.D. pouring spout; other sizes have 3/4" (19 mm) I.D. spouts. Graduated in U.S. gallons and liters, the jerricans have extra headspace for expansion of contents.
