The phenolic screw cap is fabricated of a resin which is specially formulated to resist the effects of temperature and steam. Caps have a glued-in white rubber liner.

The tubulations are on the same side to reduce breakage and the adapter ends are all tooled for No. 3 rubber stopper fit. The tubulation O.D. is approximately 10mm.

This PYREX® general purpose condenser can be used for either distillation or extraction. Although the condensing area per unit length of the 200mm long jacket is low, the large capacity water jacket gives efficient cooling. Condenser tubulations are approximately 10mm O.D. The adapter end is tooled for uniform stopper fit, accommodating a No. 3 rubber stopper.

Calibrated "to contain" (TC). The scale and figures are durable white enamel, which stand out clearly against the red color-band on these Lifetime Red cylinders. This provides clear, accurate measurements for delivering or containing liquids. A reinforced bead of glass near the top helps to reduce breakage, if the cylinder upsets. The 100mL cylinder is in accordance with ASTM E-133 and E-1272 and is used in ASTM D-86, D-216 and D-447.
