KIMBLE® 45325 KIMAX® Nessler APHA Color Comparison Tubes with Cap Stopper are a matched set. These Nessler tubes are ideal for color comparison and feature cap style stoppers that do not need to be removed to take readings. Shadowless bottom of each tube transmits undistorted light. Standard Taper cap style stopper. Graduated ring scale of any of the tubes within a matched set will not vary from that of any other tube within the set by more than 1.5mm for the 50mL and 2.0mm for the 100mL sizes. Replacement cap is 15182.

Drying Tube for Air and Gases. Indicating DRIERITE in this plastic unit dries air and gases for small scale laboratory applications. A rubber hose connection provides an immediate flow of dry gas. Excellent as venting drier on reagent bottles, reaction apparatus, or instrument compartment, sample preparation, gravimetric determination of water vapor and drying of gases for purging and blanketing of moisture sensitive materials. Tube is polycarbonate. End caps are molded polypropylene with a 20 Micron polypropylene filter in each end.
Developed especially for ELISA and IRMA analyses. Manufactured from polystyrene with a high binding capacity (400ng immunoglobulins per cm 2). A certificate which guarantees that the CV in ELISA and IRMA analyses is less than 5 percent and that all results are within 10 percent from mean is provided. The internal base of tube has 6 fins. This unique design increases the plastic surface by 50-100%, depending on the amount of liquid used. It is therefore possible to absorb proportionally more on the increased surface and thereby improve the sensitivity of the analysis.

Nunc-Immuno Tubes are used for IRMA, ELISA and ILMA techniques. Tubes are made of polystyrene or polyethylene with modified surfaces: MaxiSorp surface has excellent affinity to immunoglobulins and similar proteins. PolySorp surface is recommended for the absorption of less polar molecules, e.g. certain viral antigens and lipids. This surface may reduce high background readings associated with viral and cellular lysates. MiniSorp tubes are molded from a special formulation of polyethylene. The tubes exhibit very low affinity for proteins.

Thin walls provide uniform contact with cycler block, providing efficient heat transfer and consistent well-to-well temperatures needed for faster cycling. Highly polished inner surface allows for maximum sample recovery. Tubes are packaged non-sterile and are autoclavable at 121°F at 15 PSI for 15 minutes. (Removing from autoclave immediately). Strip caps for sealing tubes are also available and are ordered separately.
