This polypropylene Coplin Staining Jar improves on the classic tapered square design with a larger opening for easier placement and removal of slides. The polypropylene screw cap is 53mm in diameter, has a flat top, easy grip larger knurled edge, deep thread and a seal ring to prevent leaks. Five internal slots hold up to 10 standard 1 x 3" or 25 x 75 mm slides back to back. The base diameter is 2⅜ ", height is 4½". Steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F), remove cap when autoclaving.

The screw cap is made of linerless white polypropylene that reduces solvent evaporation and spills during storage. The unit has a rectangular base and holds approximately 60mL. Manufactured from soda-lime glass. Approximate inside dimensions: 26 mm L x 26 mm W x 70 mm D.

Manufactured from soda-lime glass. Approximate inside dimensions: 76 mm L x 25 mm W x 75 mm D. The wide top is for convenient insertion and removal of the slides without disturbing the staining. Made of heavy, molded, clear glass with eight grooves.

Translucent jars are repeatedly autoclavable, with excellent chemical resistance.These containers can be used for long-term storage, to store pastes, solids, specimens and lab supplies. Direct UV exposure should be avoided. Before autoclaving, completely remove cap or closure and set on top of the container at an angle without engaging the threads. Polypropylene copolymer jars are not liquid leakproof, not recommended for liquid transport.
