HEPA-CAP is a disposable in-line filter device that will retain 99.97% of all particles greater than or equal to 0.3m. HEPA filter media is used throughout the scientific, research and industrial environments to provide clean/sterile air and gases. Two sizes of these devices are available: HEPA-CAP 36 with a 625 square centimeter filter area; and HEPA-CAP 75 with a 1300 square centimeter filter area.The HEPA-CAP housing is made of durable polypropylene. The filter media is laminated hydrophobic-treated glass microfibre.

Carbon Cap is a capsule filter that is filled with high-purity, high-efficiency, acid-washed, granular-activated carbon and a pleated HEPA filter. It is made specially to meet the requirements for continuous column percolation purification processes. Retains 99.97% of particles greater than 0.3 µm. Applications include: Water, chemical and reagent purification, removes noxious odors, oil mists and contaminants, compressed air lines and vacuum pumps, instrument outlet exhausts.

Whatman Polydisc 50 mm in-line disc filters are designed for larger volume sample filtration in the laboratory, at a pilot plant or in manufacturing. They are extremely versatile and cost effective. Sample volumes up to 1 liter can be filtered with one device. Polydisc devices can be used in conjunction with a syringe or connected in-line (6-10 mm ID hose) via stepped hose barbs.

VACU-GUARD is a vacuum protection filter device designed to prevent fluid and aerosol contamination of vacuum pumps or aspiration suction systems and, at the same time, eliminate hazardous exhaust. Installed in the tubing line immediately before the vacuum source (vacuum pump, etc.), the device solves a long-standing problem with suction systems/vacuum pumps. Elimination of pump and vacuum system damage provides an economic incentive to install VACU-GUARDS on all such systems.

The Aqueous IFD and Solvent IFD microfiltration devices are in-line filter/degassers. As the name implies, the Aqueous IFD provides pure filtration of aqueous based HPLC mobile phases while the Solvent IFD is used with organically based HPLC mobile phases. Specifically, the Aqueous IFD is designed to work with mobile phases containing at least 20% of the aqueous component. The filter media used in this filter is nylon; for the Solvent IFD it is polypropylene. The devices employ a polypropylene housing, the circumference of which is sealed by a security ring.

HEPA-VENT is a disposable in-line filter device that will retain 99.97% of all particles greater than or equal to 0.3m. HEPA filter media is used throughout the scientific, research and industrial environments to provide clean/sterile air and gases. The HEPA-VENT housing is 1.8 inches long by 2.1 inches and is constructed of polypropylene. The filter media is glass microfibre that has been laminated on both sides with a monofilament and treated to be mildly hydrophobic. Filtration area is 16 square centimenters.
