These polystyrene weighing boats have a smooth surface and rounded corners to allow easy removal of samples. Disposable, lightweight, with stable flat bottom and turned gripping edge. These weighing dishes are easier to manipulate than unwieldy weighing papers or heavy glass or porcelain labware. They are flexible and can be squeezed to control pour out. The thin, no-wetting polystyrene is unaffected by inorganic solutions and is ideal for handing dry or liquid samples.

The Wheaton 20-Slide Glass Staining Dish is the standard for manual staining procedures. The removable glass slide rack has an open bottom to facilitate rapid immersion and drainage and eliminate carryover. The rack holds 10 single slides, 19 slides arranged alternately straight across and diagonally, or 20 slides back-to-back of regular size: 3" x 1" (75 x 25 mm), 3" x 1-1/2 " (75 x 38 mm) and 3" x 2" (75 x 51 mm) sizes. Manufactured from soda-lime glass. Approximate inside dimensions: 95 mm L x 76 mm W x 64 mm D. Complete (dish, cover, rack, handle).

These flat clear dishes will withstand repeated sterilization (wet or dry). The edges are beaded to provide greater mechanical strength. The bead also provides a means to equally space the side walls of the bottom and cover thereby reducing the capillary action of condensed moisture on the sides. They are not affected chemically or thermally by any of the methods commonly employed in laboratories where sterilization is a major factor in routine or in specialized work. The covered dish is not airtight.The tops are marked in blue enamel and the bottoms in white enamel to make sorting easier.

KIMAX Petri Dishes have reinforced beaded edges to resist mechanical breakage and to help in centering the bottom inside the cover. Dishes remain clear after repeated use in wet or dry sterilization cycles.
