Falcon™ Multiwell Plates are available two ways; tissue-culture treated polystyrene, flat bottom, with low-evaporation lid or untreated, nonpyrogenic. Treated plates employ vacuum-gas plasma tissue-culture treated polystyrene for uniform surface chemistry that promotes cell attachment, spreading and growth. Untreated plates are made of bacteriological grade polystyrene for a more hydrophobic growth surface and reduced cell attachment. Alphanumeric well identification and condensation rings. Untreated plates come with a labyrinth lid for reduced evaporation and contamination.

A proven solution for large-scale production of cells, vaccines and therapeutic proteins, these systems have the same growth kinetics as laboratory-scale cell culture product. The ports of the system make it easy to customize and close, with custom tubing assemblies that facilitate venting, filling and harvesting. Filling and emptying a Cell Factory is a closed-system operation. No ancillary equipment required (as in roller apparatus).

The Nunclon D TripleFlask is designed with three parallel growth surfaces which provide a total culture area of 500cm2 within the same external dimensions of a standard 175cm2 flask. The Triple Flask's compact design saves incubator space, yet triples cell culture surface area. The three parallel growth surfaces promote conventional, flat, monolayer culturing. Cell lines do not require recharacterization therefore, scale up is easy and consistent. Triple Flask is emptied the same as conventional flasks.

The Filter Cap on Nunc Flasks effectively excludes micro-organisms larger than 0.22m while allowing optimal gas exchange. Maximum protection against contamination is provided by a unique hydrophobic filter. Bacterial and fungal spores can neither pass through nor grow through the matrix and contaminate the culture. The hydrophobic filter won't clog in a humid atmosphere, or if it accidentally comes in contact with the medium. The filter surface area in each size cap is proportional to the flask volume, assuring adequate gas exchange.

Strong nylon mesh with pores evenly spaced for consistent results. Molded color-coded polypropylene frame with extended tab enables aseptic handling with forceps. Ideal for preparing specimens for flow cytometry. Fits perfectly in a 50mL Falcon™ conical tube and other similarly sized tubes (not included). Nunc Cell Scrapers have a faceted joint between the scraper blade and handle. This joint allows the scraper blade to be turned to a variety of angles. One can choose to scrape windshield wiper-fashion or hoe-fashion. Multiple blade positions allow efficient scraping at odd angles around the edge of a flask. The large scraper blade is taller to provide a larger off-set from the handle. The off-set enables efficient scraping of larger straight-necked flasks. Both sizes are individually sleeve-packed and radiation sterilized.

Glass tubing is specially selected for optical clarity, interior surface smoothness and general freedom from glass imperfections. Neck area is tapered to facilitate cleaning. Glass wall thickness is 2.6mm. Vessels and deep-skirted 38-415 screw caps can be autoclaved. Caps have white (styrene-butadiene) rubber liner. Nominal neck I.D. 29mm. Wheaton-33 low extractable borosilicate glass.

Printed with lot numbers for ease in traceability, it is 100% integrity tested. Sterilized by gamma irradiation and certified non-pyrogenic.

This Corning graduated rectangular cell culture flask with a canted neck is manufactured from optically clear virgin polystyrene. It has a vented orange high density polyethylene cap. Ultra Low Attachment surface features a covalently bound hydrogel layer that effectively inhibits cellular attachment and minimizes protein absorption, enzyme activation, and cellular activation. Surface is non-cytotoxic, biologically inert, and nondegradable. It has a 25 cm² available cell growth area, a recommended medium volume of 5 to 7.5mL, and a maximum working volume of 10mL.

Canted neck flasks allow easier pouring and improved access to the flask for pipetting or scraping. Plug seal caps feature one-piece linerless construction and are designed for use in closed systems, providing a liquid- and gas-tight seal. When loosened, this cap can also be used in open systems.
