These bottles are a very effective way to humidify carbon dioxide-air mixtures for maintaining high humidity in gassed cell culture incubators.

These PYREX® gas washing bottles provide an inexpensive but effective method for washing and drying gases. A 29/42 Standard Taper stopper is used to seal the top to the base. The gas enters the bottle through the top of the central vertical tube, the lower end of which is below the surface of the washing medium.

Kimble 15065 KIMAX Short Form Gas Washing Bottle with Medium Length Joint is used for washing or drying gases. Shorter and wider than the G1710 bottles. Gas enters the bottle through the center tube and exits into the bottom of the bottle. On rising through the washing or drying medium it is thereby washed or dried and passes out of the bottle through the side tube of the bottle stopper. Both inlet and outlet tubes accept 1/4 inch I.D. flexible tubing.

Kimble 28200 KIMAX Tall Form Gas Washing Bottle with KIMFLOW Fritted Cylinder are used to wash or dry (scrub) gases of undesirable constituents. Gas enters the bottle through the center tube and exits at the bottom of the bottle through a fritted cylinder approximately 12 mm in diameter. The gas is dispersed into small bubbles, promoting complete absorption of undesirable constituents that are to be removed from the gas flow, as the gas rises to the top and exits through the side tube. Both the inlet and outlet tubes accept 1/4 inch I.D. flexible tubing.

Kimble 15060 KIMAX Tall Form Gas Washing Bottles with Medium Length Joint is used for washing or drying gases. Both inlet and outlet tubes accept 1/4" ID flexible tubing. Gas enters the bottle through the center tube and exits into the bottom of the bottle. On rising through the washing or drying medium, it is washed or dried and passes out of the bottle through the side tube of the bottle stopper.The 125 mL size is sometimes referred to as a “Dreschel” type.

A graduated 250cc polypropylene cylinder with a stable extended base for use in precipitating elements from gas. Gas is dispersed through a removable fitting that has a coarse grade porosity, polyethylene dispersion disc. The vinyl stopper holds 6.3mm (1/4") O.D. tubes for entrance and exit of gas. 0.5-psi maximum pressure.
