Mega-Pure® Stills are all glass systems that use only non-leaching components. Choice of five production capacities. The MP-1 Models (D3120A-1 thru 2E) are compact, easy-to-use 1.4 LPH glass stills available with or without a storage bottle. The MP3A (D3120A-3), MP-6A (D3120A-4) and MP-11A (D3120A-5) are 3.0, 6.0 and 11 LPH stills that are great for larger volume demands. The Model MP-12A (D3120A-6) is a 12 LPH still that has a built-in deionizer for pretreated feed to the boiler.

The MEGA-PURE Automatic Collection System is designed to collect water from the MEGA-PURE stills and control their operation and store up to 45 liters of Type II distilled water. All glass design with glass inlet and outlet tubing. The ACS is preset to shut off the power to the heaters and the water supply to the MEGA-PURE still after the bottle has collected approximately 45 liters. When the purified water supply has been depleted to approximately 38 liters, the system will automatically restart the water still and refill the collection system.

Designed for durability and consistent quality, the Classic Still was originally designed over 100 years ago, and has withstood all the tests of time. A low water cut-off prevents still burnout in the event of feedwater interruption. Manufactured from copper and bronze, with a coating of pure tin. Pure tin is used due to its inert properties against the corrosive nature of pure water. Pure tin will also not leach any contaminants into the water. Feedwater preheated in condenser conserves energy. Double-walled boiler conserves electricity.
Fully Automatic Controls for Classic Stills provide for unattended operation. Stops still when storage tank is full, starts still when storage tank water level falls below preset level. Drains still boiler at your selected 2, 4, 8, or 16 hr. intervals to reduce scale formation. These rigid fluorinated polyethylene reservoirs are specially designed for operation with DIamond RO series systems. Gel Dryers dry large gels up to 13.2" x 16.7" maximum (33.6 x 42.3 cm) or any combination of smaller gels for preservation or subsequent processing such as autoradiography. Separate vacuum and heat timers provide versatility to establish many different drying conditions. Drying times vary, depending on the vacuum source, gel concentration and gel thickness. Features include 800-watt heating element, aluminum platen, 4-hour heating timer, 4-hour vacuum timer, temperature control knob with adjustment from 40° to 80° C.

RapidVap N2/48 Evaporation Systems use nitrogen blow down, vortex motion and heat to speed evaporation of up to 48 small samples or eight 450 milliliter samples at once. A stream of nitrogen or dry gas is directed downward onto the surface of the sample. Nitrogen blow down reduces the partial pressure directly over the liquid to speed evaporation and help remove the solvent as it evaporates. These Systems may be used to prepare samples for applications such as drug development and metabolism, bioresearch, combinatorial chemistry, environmental testing, forensics and toxicology.

The Electromantle Extraction Heaters offer a choice of three or six recesses. Individual built-in solid-state electronic controls enable easy regulation of each heater, while removing sparking associated with mechanical switching. Units include three 0.5"(12.7mm) diameter support rods. External surfaces are PTFE-coated and resistant to most chemical solutions. The robust construction permits continuous operation of the units as required by routine extraction tests. Element temperature range to 450°C.

The RapidVap N2 Evaporation Systems offer a more efficient, automatic alternative to Kuderna-Danish and rotary evaporators and may be used with a broad range of aggressive chemicals. In RapidVap N2 Systems, a stream of nitrogen or dry gas is directed downward onto the surface of the sample. Nitrogen blow down reduces the partial pressure directly over the liquid to speed evaporation and help remove the solvent as it evaporates. Nitrogen may be programmed for 2, 4, 6 or all 8 tube locations. Vortex motion and dry heat may also be applied to further accelerate processing.

These indicators provide immediate visualization of flow in a tubing line. Brightly colored paddle wheels spin when gas or liquid flows through a system. Molded of clear polystyrene with smooth connecting barbs for easy installation. Internal flow channel diameter is 5mm, paddle wheel shell is 25mm, and overall length is 51mm. Maximum recommended pressure is 10 psig. Minimum flow: 0.5 LPM. Maximum flow: 10 LPM. Not for use with corrosive chemicals or fluids with a temperature in excess of 64°C (150°F).
