Built-in safety backup maintains temperature control at 5°C above setpoint if the primary control fails. Easy-to-read microprocessor control panel displays current temperature, setpoint, heater condition and overtemperature (OTC) alarms. Easily set oven temperature in 1°C increments; no tuning required and the memory stores settings when oven is off.

Unique design allows for crossslinking and hybridization at one location. The hybridizer and crosslinker portions have separate power supplies and can operate independently of one another. Use the optional rocker plate in the hybridization oven. The UV-crosslinker portion of the system provides an extremely uniform shortwave radiation exposure chamber for bonding nucleic acid to a medium, typically done before hybridization.
