Thermo Scientific analog and dry baths offer precise temperature control resolution and a much smaller footprint than a general purpose incubator and can be used at temperatures up to 130°C. These analog dry block heaters feature a built-in temperature-sensing probe for improved temperature accuracy and control. Compact design saves valuable bench space. The anodized aluminum modular blocks accommodate test tubes, square cuvettes, microcentrifuge tubes, 96-well plates, PCR plates and conical bottom centrifuge tubes.

Control the temperature using the internal type K thermocouple sensor for standard applications, or externally using the stainless steel 100 Pt RTD probe (included) to maintain a more precise set point. The two-line LED display shows both set and actual temperatures; if using the remote probe, "R" will display after the actual temperature. Program and save up to three heat and time settings.

The Cimarec+ series of hot plates combines user friendly analog temperature control with a more accurate digital display. The hot top indicator remains lit as long as the plate temperature is above 50°C (122°F), even if the hot plate is turned off. Optional external temperature probe (order separately) provides the feedback necessary to keep your sample at the desired temperature. Optional splash guard (order separately) protects you and your sample from mishaps.

These Corning® hot plates have a durable glass-ceramic Pyroceram® 4 x 5 inch top and offer superior performance and reliability in a low profile, space-saving design. Closed-loop heating controls and microprocessor maintain consistent and repeatable temperature settings from 5°C (if ambient temperature is 0°C or lower) up to 550°C. Digital LED temperature display is adjustable in 5°C increments and blinks until set temperature is reached. Bright LED HOT TOP icon lights up when top plate is over 60°C, even when heat control is turned off. Separate temperature sensor provides power cutoff if unit overheats.
