Desiccator with a vacuum pump is ideal for drying, preserving, storing, and even shipping samples. Vacuum pump built into the top removes air with manual strokes. Rubber O-ring-sealed cover maintains vacuum. Achieves a vacuum of better than 200 inches of water (15 inches of mercury). A release button on top allows air into the plastic container to remove the lid. Use desiccants to keep material dry—ideal for storing chemicals, powders, sample tissues, and plant sections, and for weighing samples.

Secador® Desiccator Cabinets have a patented sealed design that assures moisture and dust free storage of humidity sensitive items. Cabinets are molded of co-polyester plastic resistant to staining, crazing and chemical attack and have built-in protection that blocks 99% of UV light. Desiccant can be placed under the bottom shelf or on any shelf. A hygrometer dial in the door allows for easy monitoring of relative humidity. Carrying handles make them easy to relocate. Customized tops and bottoms allow for safely stacking of units.

Secador® Auto-Desiccator Cabinets have a built-in patented, electronic dehumidification system that automatically regenerates the desiccant and reduces the relative humidity to about 25% within 8 hours. Cabinets are molded of co-polyester plastic resistant to staining, crazing and chemical attack and have built-in protection that blocks 99% of UV light. A hygrometer dial in the door allows for easy monitoring of relative humidity. Built in modules require 120 VAC (230 VAC available).

D1388-1 Vertical Auto-Desiccator Cabinet features a permanent silica gel contained in the control unit. No desiccant tray is needed. The cycle is indicated by a green light for a 4-1/2 hour absorption period, or a red light indicating 1/2-hour regeneration of the silica gel. Dial hygrometer is located in the door. This cabinet will lower relative humidity 30-40%. Exterior dimensions: 12½" W x 15½ D x 20" H. 120 VAC. D1388-2 is the horizontal version with the same features as D1388-1. Exterior dimensions: 15½" W x 19½ D x 13¼" H. 120 VAC.

D1387-1 is molded of methyl methacrylate that allows a clear view of contents. Shelf cleats permit 15 height adjustments; three shelves with vent holes and three sets of shelf rails. The gasketed door has 2 metal hinges, two door latches and a metal handle. A desiccant tray is also included. Exterior dimensions: 12½" W x 15½" D x 20" H. D1387-2 is a non-vacuum cabinet with two clear vented shelves that adjust to eight levels. Made of methyl methacrylate, this cabinet has a gasketed door with two metal hinges, two latches and door handle.

Dricycler Desiccator. For storing reagents, IR cells or soil samples and drying specimens. Automatically regenerates silica gel desiccant enclosed in control unit. Made of stainless steel and glass. With adjustable shelves and door mounted hygrometer. Models D1384-1and D1384-1E have shelves that are 24.8W x 20.3L cm. Models D1384-2 and D1384-2E have shelves that are 24.8W x 22.9L cm. Model D1384-3 has shelves that are 48.3W x 34.3L cm. (230V units are supplied with continental European plug.)

Replacement parts for D1180 PYREX® Desiccators with 24/29 Standard Taper stopcock.

The D1190-3 replacement 24/29 Standard Taper stopcock comes with a tooled #10 hose connection. The plug material is PTFE, and is a suitable stopcock replacement for Cat. No.s D1180-1, D1180-2 and D1180-3 (Mfg. No.s: 3121-150, 3121-200 and 3121-250).

Boekel Statnip™ Desiccators are ideal for storing ESD sensitive devices such as CMOS, MOSFETs and hybrid circuits under an inert clean and dry atmosphere or storage of any other static sensitive products or samples.  The Statnip desiccator is constructed of rugged stainless steel with glass sides and front door paneling. The inside glass surface has a vapor deposited film of tin oxide. Construction prevents static buildup. Shelf spacing is adjustable in 3/4" increments and individual desiccators an be easily stacked on top of one another.

For use in gas chromatography to prevent ghost peaks and to improve baselines. The gas purifier should be used for carrier gases and for flame lonization detector air and hydrogen gases. The gas purifier may also be used to remove moisture and impurities from gases when purging spectrophotometer compartments, etc.

The DRIERITE Laboratory Air and Gas Drying unit is an all-purpose drier. This unit is suitable for most laboratory applications. It will dry air to a dew point of -100ᄚ F at atmospheric pressure or pressures up to 90 psig. A simple connection by rubber hose to the bottom inlet of the dryer provides an immediate flow of dry air or gas. This unit is also available with 1/8 inch SS NPT fittings. Plastic coated mounting clips may be purchased separately.

These PYREX® desiccators have a rugged 24/29 Standard Taper external sleeve with tooled hose connections that serve as the stopcock. It is designed so that its manipulation is not affected by the vacuum. To introduce vacuum into the desiccator, loosen the stopcock to disengage the PTFE plug from contact with the glass. The open position is indicated by the molded arrow on the cap. A half turn from this position closes the desiccator. This design eliminates the need for grease. D1180-3 requires only a quarter turn from this position to close the desiccator.
